Natural Hair Products: Make Your Own Honey Butter Condish

I've been off and on using natural hair products that are truly natural. I've used shea butter and other truly natural ingredients. However, I've mixed them with other commercial store brands. Yet after my red rum rash from a commercial product I used previously, I was challenged to start using more natural products.

I already use Shea Butter, and Oyin Handmade and water as a moisturizer by spraying my hair whenever it gets dry and letting the butters I’ve used previously hold the moisture.

However, one conditioner that I will try is called the Honey Butter Condish.

"Nappturosity," by Erinshell Anthony, highlights this and other natural hair products to make with all natural ingredients.

To make the honey butter condish, you take 8 ounces of softened shea butter and 4 ounces of coconut oil and blend them with 2 tablespoons of honey and 10 drops of your choice of essential oils. Then apply to your hair.

Erinshell Anthony also lists the following DIY natural hair products.

    Whipped Coconut Conditioning Treatment
    Sweetness Conditioner
Silk Protein Mask with Silk Peptide Powder
    Curly Frizz Vanilla Pudding
    Herb Infused Hair Tea
Herbs Conditioning Shampoo containing peppermint, tea tree, and lavender essential oils.

And the list goes on…

So I’m going to use truly natural hair products for now with my hair because along with healthy hair, I like my skin on my bones rather than peeling off from a burning fire rash.
